ABOUT YOU
Passion for the dairy industry is easily identifiable. If you have the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you.
You will possess a base knowledge of the New Zealand dairy farm and understand what it takes to make a farm run smoothly. Communication and confidence to speak up is key in this role. Our portfolio of clients is very unique and so there are a lot of varying factors at play. We need to know you have the ability to ask questions and seek clarification if you are unsure as there is a lot at stake for our clients.
Other key aspects that will allow you to succeed in this role are;
Desire to learn and grow as an aspiring dairy consultant
Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
Great Microsoft Office skills, namely Excel and Word.
Exposure to farm finances (not essential but preferred)
Tertiary degree in either Agriculture Science, Commerce or Business Management is preferred but not essential
ABOUT US
The current duo consists of Regan McCorquindale and Laura Dixon. Regan primarily spends 70% of his week on farm with his clients and the remainder of the time is spent completing reports, updating budgets, meeting accountants, lawyers and bank managers about mutual clients challenges and opportunities, and continuing to grow the business. Laura’s focus within RECO is to ensure all of our business requirements are being fulfilled. This includes organising and liaising with clients for farm visits, running XERO for our business, updating RECO’s and the supervisory farms cashflows, marketing and social media, and keeping Regan accountable to our clients. We are excited to have more people join our team!
POSITION & LOCATION
This is a full time position based in Te Awamutu, servicing the greater Waikato. The majority of our clients are within 45 minutes of the office, with some exceptions for specfic projects we are involved with.
